Hope RX4+ Disc Brake Caliper

The RX4+ is designed to work with most major hydraulic road and gravel systems, including Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo. However, you must choose the specific version of the caliper that matches your lever brand to ensure correct fluid displacement and piston actuation.

While two-piston calipers are standard for road bikes, the four-piston setup on the RX4+ provides significantly more stopping power and better heat management. This is particularly useful for long, technical descents or when riding fully loaded on gravel adventures, as it reduces brake fade and allows for more precise modulation.

The Hope RX4+ uses DOT fluid. It is critical that you verify your current brake system's fluid type before installation, as mixing DOT fluid with a mineral oil system will damage your seals and compromise your braking performance.

If you are comfortable bleeding hydraulic brakes and aligning calipers, you can install these yourself. If you are unfamiliar with hydraulic systems or the specific bleeding procedures required for your levers, we recommend having a professional mechanic handle the installation to ensure safety and proper function.

The RX4+ is available in both Post Mount and Flat Mount versions. Please check your frame and fork specifications carefully before purchasing to ensure you select the correct mounting standard for your bike.
