The Trailblazer is designed for disc-brake bikes and supports both 12mm x 142mm thru-axle and QR x 135mm axle standards. Because it is a 27.5-inch wheel, ensure your frame has the necessary clearance for that diameter before purchasing.

The hookless rim profile creates a straighter sidewall, which allows the tire to maintain a more natural, rounded shape. This improves stability and cornering confidence, especially when running the lower tire pressures common in modern gravel and cross-country riding.

The hub features a five-degree engagement system, which means there is very little 'dead space' when you start pedaling. This provides immediate power transfer, which is particularly helpful when navigating technical climbs or tricky terrain where quick bursts of acceleration are needed.

While the wheel is optimized for a tubeless setup—which we recommend for better traction and puncture resistance—you can certainly use it with inner tubes if you prefer. Just ensure your tire choice is compatible with hookless rims.
