The Shimano EP600 is designed specifically for mid-drive efficiency, providing smooth, natural-feeling torque that helps you maintain traction on loose surfaces. It excels at steady power delivery, which prevents the rear wheel from spinning out on steep, unpaved inclines.

Range varies significantly based on your assist mode, terrain, and rider weight, but you can generally expect to cover 30 to 60 miles on a single charge. If you stick to lower assist modes on flatter terrain, you will maximize your range, while using maximum boost on steep climbs will drain the battery faster.

The frame is designed with generous clearance, but the stock 700x45c tires are already quite wide for a gravel bike. While there is some room to go slightly larger, you should always leave enough clearance for mud and debris to pass through the chainstays without rubbing.

The Denna H50 is well-suited for both. Its stable geometry and vibration-absorbing carbon fork make it comfortable for long days in the saddle, and the integrated battery system is designed to support longer excursions, though you will need to manage your power usage carefully on multi-day trips.

The Shimano Cues U6000 is built for durability and reliable shifting under load, which is essential for gravel riding. The Shadow RD design keeps the derailleur tucked in closer to the frame, reducing the risk of damage from trail obstacles like rocks or branches.

Orbea has optimized the weight distribution to keep the center of gravity low, which helps the bike feel planted and stable. While it is heavier than a non-electric gravel bike, the balanced geometry ensures it remains composed and predictable when navigating corners or technical sections.
