It is designed for both. The geometry puts you in a comfortable, upright position that is great for city traffic, but the lightweight alloy frame and wide-range gearing make it efficient enough for longer fitness rides on paved paths.

The 360-degree reflective accents are integrated directly into the frame's finish. They are highly effective at catching light from car headlights, significantly increasing your visibility to drivers during dawn, dusk, or night rides.

Hydraulic disc brakes are largely self-adjusting and require very little day-to-day maintenance compared to rim brakes. You will eventually need to have the brake fluid bled and the pads replaced, but this is a standard service interval that any local bike shop can handle.

The bike features an integrated wheel sensor that pairs with the Cannondale app on your smartphone. It automatically tracks your rides, logs your speed and distance, and even sends you reminders when it is time for routine maintenance.

The bike comes stock with 700x35c tires, which offer a good balance of speed and cushioning. While there is some clearance for slightly wider tires, you should consult with a mechanic to ensure the specific tire width you choose will fit safely within the frame and fork.
