While 160mm is definitely in the 'enduro' category, the suspension platform on the Shuttle AM is efficient enough that it doesn't feel sluggish on moderate terrain. It provides a massive safety net for rough descents and big hits, making it a versatile choice if you value confidence over absolute weight savings.

The carbon frame is durable and engineered for trail abuse, but you should still inspect it periodically for deep scratches or impacts, just as you would with any high-end bike. Avoid clamping a repair stand directly to the frame tubes; always use the seatpost to secure the bike.
