Derailleur hangers are frame-specific, not universal. You must match the hanger's shape and bolt pattern exactly to your current hanger or consult the Wheels Manufacturing fitment guide by searching for your bike's make, model, and year.

Because this part is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum, it often offers tighter tolerances and better structural consistency than many mass-produced, cast factory originals. However, it is still designed to act as a sacrificial part to protect your frame's derailleur mount during an impact.

This hanger attaches using a standard M8 chainring bolt, which is typically reused from your existing setup. The package includes the hanger itself, but you should retain your original mounting hardware.

The black anodized finish isn't just for aesthetics; it provides a crucial layer of corrosion resistance. This helps prevent the aluminum from oxidizing, ensuring the hanger remains durable and easy to remove even after exposure to mud, water, and trail debris.

If your current hanger is bent, replacing it with this part is the correct solution to restore proper shifting. If the frame's actual dropout is damaged or bent, however, a new hanger will not fix the alignment issue.
