While this tire is engineered to handle the higher torque and heavier weight of electric mountain bikes, it can technically be mounted on a standard mountain bike. However, at 1325 grams, it is significantly heavier than a standard trail tire, so you may find it sluggish on a non-motorized bike.

The MAGI-X compound is Michelin's high-grip formulation designed for technical terrain. It provides a softer, tackier feel that excels at gripping roots, rocks, and loose surfaces, though it will wear down faster than harder, long-lasting compounds.

This is a tubeless-ready tire, meaning it is optimized for a tubeless setup to allow for lower tire pressures and better puncture protection. You can use it with an inner tube if you prefer, but you will lose the primary benefits of the tubeless-ready construction.

The 220 TPI (threads per inch) casing offers a balance between durability and suppleness. It is robust enough to handle aggressive riding and the weight of an e-bike without feeling overly stiff or harsh on the trail.

The E-WILD is designed primarily for technical, varied terrain rather than specific mud or snow conditions. While the rubber compound offers excellent grip on wet roots and rocks, it is best suited for general trail riding rather than deep, soft mud.
