DT Swiss Bearing

This bearing is a standard size (15mm x 24mm x 5mm) used across many DT Swiss hub models. To ensure a perfect match, verify the dimensions against your current bearing or consult your hub's service manual using the part number HSBXXX00N2464S.

This is a sealed cartridge bearing. It comes as a single, pre-assembled unit, which makes installation much cleaner and more straightforward than dealing with individual loose ball bearings.

You can replace these yourself if you have the right tools, specifically a bearing press and the appropriate drifts for your hub shell. If you do not have experience with hub maintenance, we recommend having a shop perform the swap to avoid damaging the hub internals.

These bearings come pre-lubricated from the factory with high-quality grease designed for cycling applications. They are ready to install right out of the packaging.

There is no set mileage, but you should inspect your bearings if you notice gritty rotation, lateral play in the wheel, or audible clicking while riding. If the wheel no longer spins smoothly or feels 'notchy' when turned by hand, it is time for a replacement.
