The included pump sack attaches directly to the pad's two-way valve. You fill the sack with air, seal the top, and roll it down to push air into the pad, which prevents moisture from your breath from building up inside the insulation.

The rectangular shape offers a consistent sleeping surface, which is ideal if you tend to toss and turn or prefer more room for your feet. While it is slightly heavier than a tapered mummy pad, it provides a more comfortable, bed-like experience.
