Yes, the Skywire Carbon is designed to be cut down to your preferred width. We recommend using a fine-tooth hacksaw and a cutting guide to ensure a clean, straight edge on the carbon.

You should tighten your stem bolts to between 4 and 4.5 Nm. Always use a torque wrench to avoid over-tightening, which can damage the carbon structure.

While the Skywire features textured, non-slip surfaces at the stem and grip areas to prevent movement, applying a light layer of carbon assembly paste is still recommended. This ensures a secure fit at lower torque settings and helps prevent creaking.
