The 25A compound is significantly softer than the rubber used on many stock grips. This extra compliance allows the material to conform better to your palm, which helps absorb trail chatter and reduces hand fatigue on long, technical descents.

While 31.5mm is considered a standard-to-slightly-thicker diameter, the tapered core helps keep the overall profile manageable. If you prefer a very thin grip, this might feel substantial, but most riders find the ergonomic shape provides a secure, natural hold without feeling bulky.

The single lock-on system uses a 7075 aluminium collar and a stainless steel bolt, which creates a very high-strength connection. Once tightened to the recommended torque, these grips are designed to stay firmly in place without twisting, even during aggressive, high-speed riding.

They are excellent for both. While they were developed for the demands of World Cup racing, the focus on vibration dampening and the soft rubber compound makes them a great choice for any rider looking to minimize arm pump and hand soreness on long days in the saddle.

Installation is straightforward and only requires a standard 3mm hex key to tighten the stainless steel bolt on the lock-on collar. No glue or wire is needed, making them easy to remove or swap between bikes.
