These are specifically designed for alpine and trad climbing, not sport climbing. The 60 cm Dyneema sling is intended for extending placements to reduce rope drag on wandering routes, rather than the short, rigid draws used for clipping sport bolts.

The wiregate design is excellent for gloved use. They are easy to manipulate and less prone to freezing shut compared to solid-gate carabiners, making them a reliable choice for cold-weather alpine environments.

Dyneema is significantly lighter and thinner than nylon, which helps keep your rack weight down on long approaches. It also absorbs less water, preventing the slings from freezing stiff or becoming heavy in wet or snowy conditions.
