Most modern assisted-braking devices and standard tubes are designed to handle 9.2 mm ropes comfortably. However, because this rope is thin and handles smoothly, you should ensure your belay device is rated for this diameter and always maintain proper braking technique.

The fine sheath structure creates a smoother surface, which reduces friction as the rope passes through quickdraws and your belay device. This makes clipping feel more fluid and less drag-heavy, which is a significant advantage on long, pumpy sport routes.
