The Flex Step is designed primarily for packed snow and groomed trails. While they will work in lighter snow, their size and design are optimized for trail walking rather than deep backcountry flotation.

The 16° ActiveLift heel lift acts like a step to reduce calf fatigue when you are climbing uphill. It keeps your foot in a more natural, neutral position on inclines, which makes steep sections significantly easier to manage.

The QuickPull binding system is designed to accommodate a wide range of footwear, fitting US shoe sizes 6 through 11. The simple strap and buckle mechanism allows you to secure your boots quickly, even while wearing gloves.

The composite deck allows for 'torsional articulation,' meaning the snowshoe can twist slightly as you walk. This helps the snowshoe conform to uneven terrain, keeping your gait natural and reducing the strain on your joints.

Not on packed snow or light ice. These feature integrated toe crampons and side rails that provide reliable traction for standard trail conditions, though they are not intended for steep, icy mountaineering.
