HydraPak Seeker

The Seeker 6L includes a filter that attaches directly to the cap, allowing you to filter water as you dispense it. You simply fill the reservoir from a natural water source, screw on the filter cap, and squeeze or hang the bag to get clean, drinkable water.

While 6L is substantial, the Seeker is designed to be lightweight and collapsible. You don't have to fill it to capacity; it works perfectly as a smaller reservoir when you only need a few liters, giving you the flexibility to carry more water only when your route requires it.

The Seeker 6L is primarily designed as a storage and filtration system rather than a traditional reservoir for a hydration pack. While it features a wide-mouth opening for easy filling, it is best used for camp water storage or refilling smaller bottles rather than drinking directly via a hose while hiking.

The Seeker is constructed from TPU, which is highly abrasion-resistant and flexible. It is designed to withstand the rigors of the trail, but like any soft-sided gear, it should be kept away from sharp, jagged rocks or direct contact with thorns to prevent punctures.

The wide-mouth opening makes it relatively easy to reach inside for cleaning. Because it is dishwasher safe, you can also place it on the top rack for a thorough sanitization after your trip, provided you remove the filter first.

The included filter is designed to remove 99.9999% of bacteria and protozoa, making it effective for most backcountry water sources. However, it is not rated for virus removal, so you should avoid water sources that are likely to be contaminated by human or near-source human waste.
