With its 16mm core and thermoformed construction, the RLD 1 is an all-court paddle. It offers a balanced blend of stability for control at the net and enough pop for power drives from the baseline.

The handle has a 4.17-inch circumference and a 5.5-inch length, which is a standard size for most players. The custom overmolded butt-cap is designed to provide a secure, ergonomic grip that helps prevent slipping during intense rallies.

At 8.2 ounces, this paddle falls into the mid-weight category. This weight provides a solid, stable feel when blocking hard shots while remaining maneuverable enough for quick hand battles at the kitchen line.

Thermoforming bonds the paddle's shell and core together under heat and pressure, creating a more durable, solid structure. This process generally results in a larger sweet spot and less vibration compared to traditional paddle construction methods.
