Because of its light weight, you will get the best performance using lighter spinning tackle and thinner line, such as 6- to 8-pound test fluorocarbon or braid. Using heavy baitcasting gear will likely make casting distance and accuracy difficult to manage.

Its streamlined, compact profile is designed to navigate tight cover, but keep in mind that the light wire hook and small size are optimized for finesse applications. It works best around sparse vegetation, docks, or rocky banks rather than thick, matted weeds.
