Ronan Celtic Knife

The blade is forged from CSN 14 260 spring steel, also known as 54SiCr6. This material is specifically chosen for its high resilience and durability, making it well-suited for both heavy-duty outdoor use and historical reenactment.

At 4.94 ounces, the knife is surprisingly lightweight relative to its 12.2-inch overall length. This makes it easy to carry for extended periods without fatigue, though it may feel less substantial than heavier, thicker survival blades.

The integrated eyelet allows you to easily attach a lanyard or cordage to the knife. This is a practical feature for securing the tool to your gear or wrist during outdoor activities, ensuring you don't lose it in the field.

While the 4mm blade thickness provides good strength, this knife is designed with a balance of historical aesthetics and utility in mind. It performs well for general cutting and outdoor tasks, but it is not a dedicated heavy-duty chopper or pry tool.

Because it is crafted from spring steel, the blade is susceptible to rust if left wet or dirty. To keep it in top condition, wipe the blade dry after every use and apply a light coat of oil before storing it.
