These bearings are designed for gearboxes that specifically require 6mm bushings or bearings. Before purchasing, verify your gearbox shell's hole diameter to ensure a proper fit, as some models use 7mm or 8mm sizes.

Ball bearings reduce friction between the gear shafts and the gearbox shell. This decrease in resistance allows your gears to spin more freely, which can lead to a slightly improved rate of fire and better overall efficiency.

While these are designed for durability, it is good practice to apply a very light coating of high-quality, synthetic grease during installation. Avoid over-lubricating, as excess grease can attract debris and impede movement.

You may notice a smoother cycle and a marginal increase in your rate of fire, but the impact is subtle. These are best used as a reliability upgrade to reduce friction rather than a primary method for drastically boosting performance.

These bearings feature anti-heat properties that help them withstand sustained use, making them a solid choice for most standard to moderate builds. However, for extremely high-stress builds with very strong springs, solid steel bushings are often recommended to prevent bearing failure.
