This model uses the FACT 9r carbon layup, which is slightly heavier than the S-Works FACT 12r carbon. While it carries a small weight penalty, it retains the exact same aerodynamic profile, geometry, and handling characteristics as the top-tier race bikes.

The Tarmac SL7 cockpit is designed for clean aesthetics but remains user-friendly. The stem and handlebar setup allows for standard adjustments, making it easier to swap stems or adjust your position compared to fully hidden, proprietary systems.

The 12-speed Shimano 105 mechanical groupset offers crisp, reliable shifting that is very close in performance to higher-end electronic options. It is an excellent choice for riders who prefer the tactile feedback of cables and want a lower-maintenance, more budget-friendly drivetrain.

The Tarmac SL7 is a true all-rounder. Its Rider-First Engineered frame balances stiffness and weight, making it highly capable on steep climbs while still providing the aerodynamic efficiency needed for fast, flat road racing.

The bike comes with 26mm tires, which are standard for race performance. The frame clearance is generous, allowing you to run wider tires if you prefer more comfort or grip on rougher road surfaces.
