This clamp has a 29.8mm diameter and is specifically designed to fit frames requiring that size, typically paired with a 27.2mm seat post. Before purchasing, check your current seat post clamp or your bike frame's specifications to confirm the required diameter, as even a millimeter difference will prevent a proper fit.

While the aluminum construction is durable, we recommend using a carbon-safe assembly paste if you are installing this on a carbon fiber seat post. Always use a torque wrench to ensure you do not exceed the manufacturer's recommended torque settings, as carbon is sensitive to crushing.

Installation is straightforward and requires only a standard hex key (Allen wrench) to tighten the single steel bolt. Because the bolt head is a hex type, it provides a secure grip, but be careful not to overtighten it to avoid stripping the threads.

The aluminum construction is finished to be durable against standard wear and tear. While the black, chrome, white, and silver finishes are designed to look good for a long time, they may show minor scratches if you frequently adjust your seat height or use tools carelessly.
