While it is durable enough for standard trail riding, it is thinner than reinforced casings, so it is best suited for riders who prioritize speed and agility over riding through sharp, rocky terrain.

The PaceStar compound is a triple-compound blend specifically engineered for cross-country performance. It uses a firmer base for low rolling resistance and softer shoulders to provide extra grip when cornering, giving you a predictable feel without sacrificing speed on straightaways.

While the LiteSkin casing is technically designed as a tube-type tire, many riders successfully convert them to tubeless using sealant. However, because the sidewalls are thinner to save weight, you may need to be more diligent about checking sealant levels compared to a dedicated tubeless-ready tire.
