CST Rock Hawk

The Rock Hawk is designed as an all-condition trail tire. Its aggressive, widely spaced lug pattern performs well in loose, muddy, or unpredictable trail surfaces where clearing debris is essential.

While it is built for aggressive trail riding, the ramped center knobs are specifically designed to reduce rolling resistance. You will find it rolls more efficiently than a pure mud tire, though it will still feel slower than a dedicated cross-country or slick tire.

The 27 TPI (threads per inch) casing indicates a thicker, more durable construction. While it may be slightly heavier and less supple than higher TPI tires, it offers excellent puncture resistance and reliability for rugged trail use.

The Rock Hawk is sized at 29 x 2.25 inches. As long as your bike frame and fork have clearance for a 2.25-inch width, it will fit standard 29-inch mountain bike rims.

The spacing between the lugs allows the tire to shed mud and loose dirt more effectively, ensuring the knobs can bite into the trail surface rather than getting clogged. This provides consistent traction in soft or messy conditions.
