The Stolen Slab Stem is designed for standard 1 1/8" threadless steerer tubes, which covers the vast majority of modern BMX and freestyle bikes. If your bike uses a standard threadless setup, this will fit perfectly.

A top-load stem like the Slab raises your handlebar height by 31mm. This generally provides a more upright, comfortable riding position and makes it easier to pull up for manuals and bunnyhops compared to a front-load stem.

Yes, the stem uses high-quality chromoly steel hex bolts. Chromoly is significantly stronger and more resistant to stripping than standard steel or aluminum bolts, so you can tighten them securely without worrying about damaging the threads.

The recessed top is designed to sit flush with most standard fork compression caps, creating a clean, streamlined look. It doesn't require a specific brand of headset, but it works best with caps that have a lower profile.

At 11.2 ounces, the Slab is built to balance weight and durability. While it features strategic cutouts to shave off excess material, it is constructed from 6061 T-6 aluminum, making it robust enough for the demands of park and street riding.
