The Kazoo is typically designed for children aged 4 to 10 years old. It is best for kids who have outgrown a trailer but aren't quite ready to ride independently on busy roads or long distances.

The Kazoo features a freewheel mechanism, which means your child can pedal along with you or coast whenever they choose. This is a great feature for teaching them how to pedal without forcing them to keep up with your cadence.

It attaches to most adult bicycles with a standard seat post. However, it is not compatible with carbon fiber or suspension seat posts, as the clamping mechanism requires a rigid, standard frame.

Once the initial hitch is installed on your bike, attaching and detaching the Kazoo is quick and straightforward. It uses a secure, tool-free connection system that allows you to switch between solo riding and towing in under a minute.

Because it is a single-speed, your child won't be able to shift gears to help you on steep climbs. You will be doing the majority of the work, so it is best suited for flat to rolling terrain rather than mountainous routes.
