While you can use it in bright light, the Plexus effect is much more pronounced in darker, underexposed areas. If you shoot in very bright conditions, the effect may be subtle or washed out by the highlights.

Since the effect relies on darker areas to show up, you might want to experiment with slightly underexposing your shots to make the blue structure pop. However, as an ISO 200 film, it still performs best in well-lit environments where you have control over your shadows.
