Astronomik OWB Clip Filter

The OWB (Original White Balance) filter corrects the spectral sensitivity of an astro-modified camera. Because modified cameras have had their IR-cut filters removed, they often produce unnatural colors in daylight; this filter restores that balance so you can use your camera for standard daytime photography again.

The OWB Clip Filter is designed for Canon EOS APS-C DSLR bodies. It works with most Canon EF and EF-S lenses, as well as third-party lenses, M42, and T2 adapters, provided they do not protrude too far into the camera body and interfere with the clip mechanism.

No tools are required. The filter is designed to clip securely into the camera body, making it easy to insert or remove in the field when you want to switch between daytime and astrophotography setups.

Not at all. The filter features diffraction-limited optical performance and is only 0.5mm thick, ensuring it maintains the sharpness and clarity of your lenses without introducing aberrations.
