Tekton Design Lore

The Lore is exceptionally versatile. Because of its high 94dB sensitivity, it pairs beautifully with low-power tube amplifiers, but it also has the power handling to thrive with high-wattage solid-state or digital amplifiers.

The Lore is a floorstanding speaker measuring 39 inches tall and 12 inches wide. While they are designed for relatively easy placement, they perform best when given enough room to breathe, ideally a few feet away from side and back walls to allow the soundstage to fully develop.

They are excellent for both. While they are a favorite among music enthusiasts for their dynamic, punchy sound, their high output and precise imaging make them equally capable as the main front speakers in a high-performance home theater setup.

The 10-inch driver is central to the Lore's signature sound, providing a punchy, energetic, and dynamic performance. It allows the speaker to move air effectively, resulting in impressive bass extension and a sense of scale that smaller drivers often struggle to replicate.

With a frequency response that reaches down to 30Hz, the Lore offers substantial bass extension on its own. For most music listening, you likely won't feel the need for a subwoofer, though home theater enthusiasts may still choose to add one for dedicated LFE effects.
