The center channel handles the vast majority of dialogue in movies and television. A dedicated speaker like the MB-B ensures that voices remain clear, intelligible, and anchored to the screen, preventing them from getting lost in the broader soundstage created by your left and right speakers.

The signature ribbon planar tweeter uses a lightweight kapton/aluminum sandwich membrane that moves much faster than a traditional dome. This allows for exceptionally detailed, airy, and dynamic high frequencies, which is crucial for capturing the nuances of speech and subtle sound effects.

The MB-B has an impedance rating of over 4 ohms and performs best with high-quality amplification. We recommend using an amplifier capable of delivering at least 50 watts to ensure the drivers have enough headroom to handle dynamic shifts in audio without distortion.

While it is classified as a bookshelf-style speaker, its curved, heavily braced enclosure is designed to sit securely on a stable surface. It includes adjustable aluminum feet that help isolate the cabinet and can be used to slightly angle the speaker toward your listening position for better audio dispersion.

The curved, heavily braced wood enclosure is engineered to minimize internal standing waves and cabinet resonance. By reducing these vibrations, the speaker produces a cleaner, more accurate sound, particularly in the mid-range where dialogue clarity is most critical.

The dual 5.25-inch carbon-coned drivers are designed for speed and precision rather than deep sub-bass extension. With a frequency response starting at 45 Hz, they provide a solid, punchy foundation for dialogue and mid-range effects, though you will still want a dedicated subwoofer to handle the lowest cinematic frequencies.
