Because of its rigid aluminum headshell and solid brass base, this tonearm is quite versatile and handles a wide range of cartridges well. It is particularly effective with medium-to-high-end moving coil cartridges that benefit from the arm's excellent resonance control.

The captured RCA cable is a design choice intended to minimize connection points and signal loss, ensuring the integrity of the signal from the Cardas internal wiring. While you cannot swap the cable, the high-quality wiring used throughout the arm is designed to perform at a level that rarely requires an aftermarket upgrade.
