DampRid Refillable Moisture Absorber

This unit is a passive absorber that requires no electricity, making it ideal for small, enclosed spaces like closets or under sinks where power outlets may not be available. While it is silent and energy-free, it is designed for localized moisture control rather than dehumidifying an entire room.

The active ingredient is calcium chloride, a salt-based desiccant that pulls moisture from the air. While it is effective at trapping humidity, the crystals should be kept out of reach of children and pets, as ingestion or direct contact can cause irritation.

You will know it is time to refill when the calcium chloride crystals have fully dissolved into the liquid collected in the bottom of the container. Simply pour out the liquid, rinse the container, and add fresh refill crystals to continue the process.

This product is best suited for small, stagnant spaces like bathrooms, pantries, or closets. It is not designed to handle the moisture levels of large, open-concept rooms, where an electric dehumidifier would be significantly more effective.

The MICROBAN technology is integrated into the product to inhibit the growth of mold and mildew on the surface of the absorber itself. While it helps reduce the overall humidity that encourages mold growth in your home, it is not a treatment for existing mold on walls or other surfaces.
