Khadi is a traditional hand-spun and hand-woven cotton fabric. It has a slightly textured, organic feel that is more breathable and substantial than mass-produced terry cloth, becoming softer with every wash.

Because this towel uses natural indigo, some color transfer is possible during the first few washes. We recommend washing it separately in cold water until the excess dye has fully stabilized.

This towel is designed for efficiency rather than heavy pile. While it is highly absorbent, the flat-weave khadi construction dries much faster than a thick, looped terry towel, making it ideal for humid environments.
