Not at all. Despite its delicate feel, the 100% cotton construction is highly absorbent and designed to wick moisture away from the skin efficiently. Its thinner profile also allows it to air-dry much faster than heavy, high-pile towels.

To keep the fibers soft and absorbent, machine wash the towel in cold water using a mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can coat the cotton fibers and reduce the towel's natural ability to absorb water.
