The press uses the thermal conductivity of the aluminum to melt the ice into shape quickly. Depending on the room temperature, you can typically expect a perfectly formed sphere in about 60 to 90 seconds.

While the press will shape any ice, using distilled or boiled water in the included tray helps minimize air bubbles and impurities. This results in a much clearer, more professional-looking sphere for your cocktails.

The aluminum is durable and designed for bar use, but it should be hand-washed and dried thoroughly after each session. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers to maintain the silver finish's luster.

The press is designed to work with the ice blocks created by the included tray. Ensure your ice blocks are frozen solid before placing them in the press for the best results.

No pre-heating is required. The press works best at room temperature, as the natural heat transfer from the aluminum to the ice is what facilitates the melting process.
