Hermetus Bottle Opener & Resealer

The Hermetus is designed for standard crown-cap bottles, such as those used for beer, soda, and some sparkling wines. It is not compatible with twist-off caps or larger corked bottles.

The integrated red rubber seal creates a hermetic, airtight closure that effectively maintains carbonation and prevents spills. While it is excellent for short-term storage, it is not intended for long-term preservation like a dedicated wine stopper.

The opener is made from durable, chrome-plated metal, which is resistant to corrosion. To keep it in the best condition, we recommend hand washing and drying it thoroughly rather than putting it in the dishwasher.

While the seal is very secure, it is designed for upright storage. We recommend keeping the bottle vertical to ensure the best seal and to prevent any potential leakage.

The Hermetus features a classic, ergonomic design that provides good leverage for opening bottles. The resealing function requires a firm press to engage the rubber seal, but it is generally straightforward for most users.
