Due to the delicate, handmade nature of barium crystal, we strongly recommend hand-washing these tumblers. Using a dishwasher can lead to thermal shock or mechanical damage, which may compromise the clarity and structural integrity of the glass.

Microbubbles are a natural byproduct of the traditional mouth-blown glassmaking process and are not considered defects. They serve as a hallmark of authenticity, confirming that each piece was individually crafted rather than mass-produced by a machine.

Barium crystal is prized for its exceptional clarity, brilliance, and strength. It offers a high refractive index similar to lead crystal but is formulated without lead, providing a refined weight and a clear, resonant ring when toasted.
