You do not need a traditional box spring, but you do need a solid, supportive foundation. A platform bed, slatted base with slats no more than 3 inches apart, or an adjustable base will provide the necessary support to maintain the mattress's integrity and warranty.

While the mattress will be ready to sleep on within a few hours, it can take up to 48 hours to fully expand and reach its intended firmness level. You may notice a slight initial scent, which is normal for compressed foam and will dissipate quickly in a well-ventilated room.
