The Dirt Hero frame is designed to grow with your child by accommodating both 12-inch and 14-inch wheels. This allows you to start with the smaller size for better control and stability, then upgrade to the larger wheel size as your child gains confidence and height, effectively extending the bike's lifespan.

While standard rim brakes are common on kids' bikes, hydraulic disc brakes offer significantly better stopping power with much lighter lever action. This is crucial for small hands that may lack the grip strength required to operate traditional cable-actuated brakes effectively on trails.

The minimum inseam required for the Dirt Hero is 13.3 inches. We recommend measuring your child's inseam while they are wearing shoes to ensure they can comfortably reach the ground while seated.

The 2.25-inch Kenda tires are designed primarily for off-road use, offering excellent grip and shock absorption on loose surfaces like gravel and dirt. While they will work on pavement, they are wider and knobbier than standard road tires, which may feel slightly slower on smooth, flat surfaces.

The Dirt Hero features a specific child-safe rotor guard designed to cover the disc brake mechanism. This prevents little fingers from accidentally touching the rotor or getting caught in the moving parts during operation.
