Denim is a durable, heavy-duty cotton textile that naturally resists wear. While it is not waterproof, it is more forgiving than delicate linens; simply blot spills immediately to prevent deep setting.

We recommend machine washing on a cold, gentle cycle with like colors to maintain the integrity of the indigo dye. Lay it flat or hang it to dry to prevent shrinkage and preserve the shape.

Like most high-quality indigo-dyed textiles, there is a slight possibility of color transfer when the fabric is new. We suggest washing it once before the first use to set the dye and avoid contact with light-colored surfaces until then.
