Yes, you can layer it over foundation, but application technique matters. For the best results, apply a small amount to your fingertips or a brush first and then tap it onto your cheeks rather than applying the applicator directly to your face.

The formula is sheer and buildable, so start with a single layer and let it set for a few seconds before adding more. Because it is a liquid stain, working quickly and blending immediately after application prevents uneven patches.

Once the product has fully set, it is designed to be smudge-proof and transfer-proof. While it is highly durable and kiss-proof, very oily foods or heavy lip balms applied directly on top may break down the stain faster.

The formula is designed to be non-drying, but because it is a stain, it does not provide the hydration of a lip balm or gloss. If you have naturally dry lips, we recommend applying a light layer of lip balm underneath or over the top once the stain has fully set.
