Ball Quilted Crystal Jars

While these jars are authentic Ball glass, they are new, sealed old stock from the 1980s. Because canning lids and seals have evolved significantly in safety standards over the last few decades, it is recommended to use these jars for dry storage, decorative purposes, or gifting rather than pressure canning or water bath processing.

Each jar holds 8 ounces, which is the standard size for small-batch jams, jellies, preserves, or homemade spice blends. They are compact and well-suited for pantry organization or single-serving gifts.

The included gold-tone metal lids are designed to screw on securely, making them effective for storing dry goods like herbs, nuts, or pantry staples. However, because they are vintage stock, the rubberized seal inside the lid may not be as pliable as modern equivalents, so they are best used for non-perishable items.

The glass jars are dishwasher safe, but it is highly recommended to hand wash the vintage metal lids. The decorative fruit pattern and the finish on the lids can be damaged by the high heat and harsh detergents found in modern dishwashers.

These jars stand at 7 inches tall. Their compact, quilted design makes them easy to stack or arrange on standard kitchen shelving.
