Bokashi tea is the nutrient-rich liquid byproduct that collects at the bottom of your bin during the fermentation process. You should drain this liquid regularly using the included spigot to prevent odors and keep the fermentation environment healthy.

Each 2.2 lb (1 kg) bag of bran is enough to ferment five full kitchen composters. For an average family, this equates to approximately three to four months of food scrap processing.

Yes, the bran is highly versatile. You can dig it into existing compost piles to boost activity, mix it into garden soil to improve root development, or even sprinkle it in pet litter boxes and animal cages to help neutralize odors.

Keep the bran in its original zip-lock bag or an airtight container, stored away from direct sunlight at room temperature. When stored properly, the microbes remain active for up to 18 months.
