Aprilaire 600m Humidifier

The 600m is a bypass humidifier that mounts directly to your furnace ductwork. It utilizes your existing HVAC blower fan to distribute moisture-balanced air throughout your home's entire duct system.

While it is designed for homeowners with some DIY experience, installation requires cutting into your HVAC ductwork and wiring the unit to your furnace. If you are not comfortable working with sheet metal and low-voltage electrical components, we recommend hiring a professional HVAC technician.

Maintenance is minimal and generally involves replacing the water panel evaporator once per heating season. You should also perform a quick annual cleaning of the unit's internal components to ensure optimal performance and prevent mineral buildup.

The included manual humidistat is mounted to your return air duct or a wall, allowing you to dial in your preferred humidity level. Once set, the unit will automatically cycle on and off to maintain that specific level based on the indoor air conditions.
