Bee's Wrap Food Wrap

The wrap uses the warmth of your hands to soften the beeswax, allowing it to become pliable and tacky. Simply wrap it around your food or container and hold it in place for a few seconds until it cools and sets into a seal.

It is best to avoid using beeswax wraps directly on raw meat or fish. Because the wraps must be washed in cool water, you cannot sanitize them effectively enough to remove potential bacteria from raw proteins.

Wash the wrap in cool water using a mild, eco-friendly dish soap. Avoid hot water, as it will melt the wax coating, and let it air dry completely before folding it for storage.

Do not use these wraps with hot food, as heat will melt the wax. Additionally, avoid using them in the microwave, oven, or dishwasher, and keep them away from open flames or high-heat sources.

With proper care and regular washing, a single wrap can last up to a year. Once the wax coating begins to wear down or the wrap no longer seals effectively, you can compost it as it is fully biodegradable.

You may notice a very faint scent of beeswax when you first use the wrap, but it does not transfer any flavor or residue to your food. The ingredients are food-safe and designed specifically for storage.
