The table starts at 72 inches in length and can accommodate up to four 12-inch leaves. With all four leaves inserted, the table reaches a total length of 120 inches, comfortably seating up to 10 to 12 people depending on your chair width.

The trestle base is designed to provide maximum stability while keeping the perimeter clear. Because the support structure is centered, it allows for comfortable seating around the entire table without the obstruction often found with corner legs.

The wood species vary primarily in grain pattern and hardness. For example, Red Oak and Hickory are exceptionally hard and durable, while Cherry and Walnut are prized for their rich color and smooth, consistent grain patterns.

Edge profiles are largely a matter of personal style and safety. A Roundover or Waterfall edge offers a softer, more modern look that is comfortable on the forearms, while Mission or Bevel edges provide a sharper, more traditional aesthetic.

The table requires assembly upon arrival, typically involving attaching the trestle base to the tabletop. While it is a straightforward process, the solid wood components are heavy, so we recommend having two people present to safely handle and position the table.

The Carmen Trestle Table utilizes a removable leaf system. Please note that these leaves are designed to be stored separately when not in use, as the table does not feature an internal self-storing mechanism.
