The holder is designed for standard taper candles. Given the open, sculptural nature of the iron, we recommend using drip-less tapers to keep the finish clean and maintain the piece's aesthetic.

The Coal Black finish is durable and low-maintenance. Simply wipe the iron down with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust; avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive sponges, which could compromise the finish.

The holder weighs 3 lbs, providing a solid, grounded base. However, as with any heavy metal decor, we recommend using small felt pads on the underside if you are concerned about scratching delicate wood or glass surfaces.
