Risogama Teapot

The teapot has a total volume of 250ml (approximately 8.45oz) when filled to the brim. It is best suited for brewing one to two small cups of tea at a time.

Because each piece is hand-crafted in Arita, you should expect slight differences in the carved patterns, shape, and color compared to the product photos. These variations are a natural part of the artisanal process and ensure that your teapot is unique.

The matte porcelain is durable, but it is best to hand wash it gently with mild soap to preserve the delicate carved texture. Avoid using harsh abrasive scrubbers that could scuff the matte surface over time.

This model is designed as a traditional kyusu-style teapot. Please note that it does not include an internal mesh basket, so it is best used with loose-leaf teas that have larger leaves or by using an external strainer when pouring.

The teapot measures 38mm in height and has a diameter of 125mm. Its low-profile, wide shape is characteristic of traditional Japanese kyusu designs.
