Carbon fiber is exceptionally rigid and lightweight, which helps minimize unwanted resonance and vibration. This results in a more stable tracking performance and a clearer, more detailed sound reproduction compared to standard metal tonearms.

The EVO 9 CC features a standard DIN output, which allows you to choose your preferred high-quality tonearm cable. Please note that a dedicated DIN-to-RCA cable is typically required to connect this to your phono stage.

While it is designed to integrate seamlessly with many Pro-Ject turntables, it is a universal 9-inch tonearm. You should verify the mounting distance and hole pattern of your specific turntable chassis to ensure it is compatible before installation.

Installing a tonearm requires precision, including mounting, cartridge alignment, and setting the tracking force and anti-skate. If you are not comfortable with delicate mechanical adjustments, we recommend having it installed by a professional audio technician to ensure optimal performance.

The DIN connection allows for a direct, uninterrupted signal path from the cartridge pins to the cable termination. By minimizing the number of solder joints and connections, it helps reduce signal loss and potential interference.
