The Cosmopolitan Electrol is designed for versatility and can be mounted to either a wall or a ceiling. It features integrated mounting holes that accommodate both installation types, making it suitable for spaces where wall placement isn't an option.

The unit includes a standard Decora-style wall switch for intuitive, hardwired control. While it does not include a handheld remote out of the box, it supports low-voltage control and a 12V trigger, allowing for integration with other automation systems.

With a gain of 1.0, the Matte White surface is designed to provide a neutral, accurate color reproduction. While it performs best in controlled lighting environments, the included black backing helps retain contrast and brightness by preventing light from passing through the screen.

The screen features a standard motor, but there is an optional silent motor upgrade available for those who require near-silent operation. If you are installing this in a quiet home theater or a boardroom where noise is a concern, the silent motor is a worthwhile consideration.

The 16:9 aspect ratio is the standard format for high-definition television and most modern cinematic content. This screen is optimized for widescreen viewing, ensuring that standard HD movies and shows fill the display area without unnecessary black bars.

The fabric is both fire-resistant and mildew-resistant, which makes it durable and easy to maintain. You can generally keep it clean by wiping it down with a soft, damp cloth, but avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the matte surface.
