DROP Dcx Genesis Keycap Set

DCX is Drop's proprietary cylindrical profile, designed to be slightly taller and more sculpted than a standard Cherry profile. It offers a more refined, premium feel with subtly rounded edges that make for a comfortable, consistent typing experience.

The Genesis set is designed for Cherry MX switches and their clones, which covers the vast majority of mechanical keyboards on the market. As long as your board uses standard cross-shaped stems, these keycaps will be compatible.

While all ABS keycaps eventually develop a shine from finger oils over time, the doubleshot construction used here is significantly more durable than standard pad-printed or laser-etched keys. The legends are molded into the plastic itself, so they will never fade or wear away.

One of the key features of the DCX profile is its focus on precision. You will notice consistent left-side legend alignment and symmetrical vertical margins across the entire set, which gives the keyboard a very clean, uniform look.

Drop engineered the DCX profile to hide sprue marks on the underside of the keycaps rather than the back or sides. This ensures that the visible surfaces remain clean and free of the unsightly injection molding marks often found on cheaper sets.
